GO Diego GO

Eric and I have a new cat. About a week ago I was about to leave for an interview, and this stray cat would just keep grazing my leg, or it would sit under my car, not allowing me to leave. In a hurry to get to my interview, I ran the cat inside, and asked Eric to find a home for the cat. He just looked at the cat like, there is no way we are keeping that thing, and told me he would take care of it.

I was about half way to my interview, and I was curious if Eric had found the little kitty's home. I called him, and asked him for an update. He told me that he had walked down our street asking all the neighbors if they knew who the cat had belonged to, but everyone just shrugged and sent him on his way. Eric than told me that the cat was so cute, and followed him everywhere, and that he was really adventurous like Dora the explorer. I than suggested that If we couldn't find a home for the cat, that we should keep him/her (At this time Eric thought Diego was a girl, and wanted to name him Dora. Ha Ha). Eric decided that it would be best to set out flyers first, just so we knew for sure Diego didn't have a good home.

Soon after my interview I got in contact with Eric again, and he informed me that he had found where the cat was staying. This guy down the next street told Eric that Diego had started living in his front yard about a month ago, in a big pile of junk, and that he had been feeding him when he got the chance. Oh....how sad. So Eric than told the man that we would love to take the cat, and give him a good home. Which we did! When I got home, we both became aware that the cat was actually a boy, and because of how adventurous he is, we name him after a famous kids show, DIEGO! We love him, and are having a blast!
